3. Saved indicates we need saving – v.8

   1. dead in sins – v.5

4. How Someone can be Saved

   1. By Grace – v.8

   2. Through Faith – v.8

      1. Believing Who Jesus is, the Christ, God come in the flesh

         1. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

         2. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

            John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

         3. 1 John 1:1-2 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (2) (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

      2. Believe Who Jesus is – not a good man, a prophet but the Son of God, God come in the flesh as the Scripture says

         1. 1 John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

         2. Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

   3. By Receiving God's Gift – v.8

      1. Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

      2. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

5. Are you saved?

   1. God has extended a pardon for your sin. Will you accept it or reject it?
